Safety and retention are core components of the SPX design. The binding boasts 45 mm of lateral elasticity in the toe and 27 mm of vertical elastic travel in the heel, allowing it to absorb intense vibrations and impact spikes without popping open prematurely. Additionally, the Full Action toe piece features a true 180-degree multi-directional mechanical release that operates independently from the heel, protecting your knees during complex or twisting falls. It is fully compatible out-of-the-box with both traditional ISO 5355 Alpine and ISO 23223 GripWalk boot soles.
